Auditions for The Diary of Anne Frank
Auditions Canceled
Forest Moon Theater and its board of directors have decided that we must regretfully cancel auditions and postpone/cancel our production of the Diary of Anne Frank, due to the severity of the pandemic and Omicron infections, the current limited availability of testing, and the inability to reschedule rehearsals or performances. Unfortunately, we must base our decision on what we know today, and we are unable to forecast what conditions will be like in another month or two. Our concern for our audience and the fact that the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre no longer has a mask mandate nor a requirement that audience members be vaccinated—precautions that many other area performance venues do take—also factored into our decision. We do not want to set up a super-spreader event.

Roles are available for actors ages 14 and older, regardless of race and gender.
Important COVID Update
We are requiring all persons who audition, including the crew working with the show, to be fully vaccinated. Please be sure to select the appropriate response on the Actor Information form. Also be sure to bring with you to auditions your CDC Vaccination card issued to you when you received your vaccine. You will be required to show us your vaccine card as proof during registration prior to your audition. We are currently also requiring masks to be worn during auditions and rehearsals except when on stage. Please do not audition if you aren’t willing to abide by these requirements.
Please preregister for an audition on just one of the two dates. We also welcome people who don’t preregister, but please understand that our time is limited to the maximum number of registrants for each audition date.
