November 16 – 19, 2017

One Week Only!
Six Performances

You’ve seen the Academy Award-winning movie Babe, which has been a family favorite since 1995.  Now the fun comes to the Forest Moon Theater stage!

When Farmer Hogget wins a pig named Babe at the county fair and brings him home to fatten up (for reasons we will not discuss), the farm is never again the same. With the help of an ageing sheep dog, Babe discovers his talent for herding, politely convincing the sheep to follow his lead. His new-found skills are put to the test when the farmer enters him in the Grand Sheep-dog Trials. Will Babe be toasted or roasted? It’s the question of the day that’s answered in the play.

This is a family-friendly production that parents will enjoy as much as the kids. A talented cast of both adult and younger actors bring life to this classic story with puppets onstage along with the actors. The humor works on multiple age-levels, with some jokes only adults will appreciate.

A Fun Grandparent-Grandchild Experience

If you are a grandparent, this is a perfect opportunity to share an entertaining live theater event with your grandkids. The messages in the play are positive ones focusing on friendship, family, self-confidence, politeness, and trust. It will be a fun memorable experience for you all.

With Babe running one week only, tickets will sell out quickly. Buy yours in advance. There are both matinee and evening performances on Saturday and Sunday. Don’t miss the fun!
