Volunteer to Serve on a Committee

Forest Moon continues to grow in size, success, and scope. As a result, the Board of Directors has determined that it is time to engage further with our community, for two reasons: (1) we need your help, and (2) we want the community (you) to play a role in shaping the future of Forest Moon.

The Board of Directors has commissioned the formation of four committees to support the activities of the Theater. These committees are to be populated by members of the Board and volunteers from the community.

Fundraising Committee
Work to ensure short-term and long-term financial stability for FMT. Secure revenue outside of individual ticket sales.

Marketing and Publicity Committee
Communicate the FMT brand, season and productions to Wake Forest and the surrounding areas. Engage the community to establish strong, lasting ties.

Production Committee
Oversee show-specific responsibilities. Ensure effective communication between directors and FMT board regarding needs and expectations.

Script Review Committee
Suggest, read, review and recommend plays for the upcoming season.

If you’d like to help Forest Moon grow and prosper in ways other than working in a production or acting–or in addition to direct involvement in a production–please consider serving on one of our committees. Send an email to office@forestmoontheater.org with Committees as the subject. In the body of the email, indicate what committee(s) interest you. Be sure to include your name. The board member in charge of the committee will be in touch with you by email.
