The Renaissance Centre in Wake Forest will be closing for renovations from January 2018 through the late spring. During this time, we will be performing our last two productions of the current season–Sylvia in February, and Proof in April–at the Community House in Wake Forest, located in Holding Park just a few blocks away from downtown. We will be creating an intimate small-theater experience that you’re sure to enjoy, and for the first time we’ll be offering reserved seating.
To stage productions at venues other than the Renaissance Centre—including our own theater someday–we’ve identified several items that we need to purchase initially:
- Steel trusses for lighting. $2,500
- Audio-visual equipment. $2,500
All contributions of $25 or more will receive recognition for the season in our play programs and on our website, unless you prefer to remain anonymous. In addition, contributors who donate $50 or more will receive a ticket to our Friends of Forest Moon social gathering at Wine and Beer 101 in Wake Forest* on Sunday, December 3, from 3-5pm. Complimentary wine, beer, and light snacks will be served, and entertainment will be provided. Additional tickets can be purchased at the door for $35.
But that’s not all!
